BCY B55 is a great choice for longbows or vintage trad bows. It has more stretch than any other string material. Some traditional archers prefer it for flemish twist strings and/or vintage bows without reinforced limb tips.

10 strands (20-26 lbs draw weight)
12 strands (27-34 lbs draw weight)
14 strands (35-42 lbs draw weight)
16 strands (43+ lbs draw weight)

B55 String
We can determine the string length needed with your riser and limb specifications and by referencing bow manufacturer recommendations. Strings will come at that length with a standard number of twists already in the string and prestretched to reduce break in time.
