Spectra 652 Continuous Loop String

Spectra 652 is equivalent to fastflight is a preferred by some for recurve bow strings. It has more give and a little more stretch than 8125 or D97.


For Spectra 652 we recommend the following strand counts as a starting point:

  • 14 strands (20-28 lbs draw weight)
  • 16 strands (29-35 lbs draw weight)
  • 18 strands (36-40 lbs draw weight)
  • 20 strands (41-45 lb draw weight)
  • 22+ strands (46+ lbs draw weight)

End Serving: The standard BCY 2X end serving can be done in the following colors:

  • Red
  • Sunset Orange
  • Yellow
  • Kiwi
  • Royal Blue

Your bow - please specify:

  • Riser make/model/length(21", 23", 25", 27")/handedness - example: Hoyt Prodigy 25" right handed
  • Limbs make/model/draw weight/length(short, medium, long) - example: Hoyt Velos 36lb medium
  • Nocks make/model/size - example: Easton small groove G nocks

Shooting Handedness
  • Top loop will be 1 5/8" and bottom will be 1 3/8". End servings will be approximately 6" long. Center serving will be 7" long (4" above the center point and 3" below). For those shooting Uukha limbs, the bottom loop will be 1" to better fit the smaller limb tips. These measurements can be customized upon request.
