Indoor Nationals got off to a great start at the Easton Center from January 16–18. While there was no pancake relay this year, the weekend delivered its own brand of fun and memorable moments. Highlights included being asked if we rent out binoculars (we don’t), and watching a determined father attempt some back-seat anchoring to help his daughter reach full draw.

The weekend also included a bit of impromptu problem-solving, with some emergency nock set replacement and coaching for an archer from the RED program.

Even the wildlife made an appearance at the Easton Center. Four raccoons were spotted while leaving Saturday night, followed by four coyotes greeting us during an early Sunday morning arrival.

College teams showed up strong, with both UCLA and Long Beach turning in impressive performances.

We’ll be back for the later February dates, ready to do it all again.
